That was a great game...I especially liked that almost surreal moment when Yellich and Lindor were standing there on second base, both of them watching the slow motion replay on the giant screen, the crowd going nuts...

Great series win. Hopeful that Lindor and Alonso start hitting again. Their slumps have been the reason for this swoon as much as any other.

I can’t believe that Hagenman gets the ball today. This is the equivalent of Jared Young DHing for almost a month or Jose Azocar getting starts. Give a spot start to one of the pitchers of the future. Wasting these opportunities on players with zero potential is beyond me. Also just read they signed Zach Pop who needs to be placed on the 40 man roster. In his last outing he gave up 7 earned runs in in 1 inning. Apparently they’ve discovered Alchemy in the pitching lab.

Nice win taking the series from the Brewers. Good pitching and timely hitting weathering the fielding of Baty and Vientos. A laser to second by Torrens and a great tag by Lindor. Marte with two hits in the leadoff spot - just when we all want him moved to another team. Perhaps they are showcasing him for an eat most of his salary trade. Hard to believe Hagenman gets the start over McLean. He’s bounced around the minors since 2018 getting his first chance in the majors this year and his limited play at Syracuse was ugly. Crazy that odds makers see him coming out on top of loud mouth Marcus Stroman. This is the game they need to take as they face Rodon and Fried in the next two. 1.5 games behind the Phillies vs Yankees who have lost 7 of 10 and are now 1 game behind the Blue Jays. LGM

Love the throw by Torrens and Lindor's tag! Nimmo has one less HR than Alonso to date! Nimmo's OBP has really declined in the last two years though (although it has improved in the past month). Hopefully, Montas has figured out his pitch tipping!

Mendoza pulled out all the stops for the win. It was big. In to the Yankees, let’s see what the bats are made of. The Met pitching lined up for this series is scary, but the Yanks are spiraling too…time for some beer league 15-12 wins.
